Five on Friday

I decided I wanted to join a new-to-me blog party today, called "Five on Friday."  It's hosted by Amy, who blogs at Love Made My Home.  After my long blogging break, I'd like to visit some new folks.  ;)  I was sick from Thanksgiving into the middle of February this year, so I blogged very little during that time.  I don't have a lot of recent stuff to show, but I can pull from past blog posts to come up with five subjects for today's post.

Earlier this week, I set a pretty table in honor of St. Patrick's Day and joined in the fun at Cuisine Kathleen's Annual St. Patrick's Day Blog Crawl.

This week I wrote about our Tulip Magnolia, or Japanese Magnolia, as it sometimes called.  We've been fortunate that it's bloomed beautifully this year without getting ruined by frost, which often happens in our area.

I wrote about St. Patrick's Cathedral, in Armagh, Northern Ireland, and shared pictures my husband took when visiting there many years ago.  It is a beautiful cathedral.

Lastly, I'm sharing a photo from Brookgreen Gardens, in South Carolina, which my husband and I have visited three times now.  It's an amazing place.

I kind of cheated by throwing in an extra picture on the St. Patrick's Day table (I hope that's okay).  Thanks for visiting my blog and Happy Weekend to you all.
