Considering the quantity of alcohol she'd consumed the night before Audrey's head was remarkably clear, although her perception of the evening was boxed up in an obscure corner of her mind. She stood at the sink trying to recollect what subjects she and Gladys had covered. She knew that pre-alcohol they discussed the calls and she thought a bus was mentioned, but she couldn't recall anything
