All opinions are 100% honest & all items were hand-selected by me.
We’ve been having such nice warm weather lately that it almost feels like we might skip spring & go straight to summer! We had to switch on our air conditioning last week and I already swapped out all of our bedding for the season too. As a result, I’ve been looking for lightweight separates & breezy dresses that will help me stay cool in the months to come.
You may have noticed that I’ve been partnering with Nordstrom more lately & it’s because they are doing such a great job of adding affordable styles to their site. Though they carry plenty of high-end designer items, their exclusive in-house brands are mostly what I purchase because I know I can count on them to be well-made and within my budget. So, I’m highlighting a few of my favorites for you today – I was careful to keep everything I’m wearing under $60 and, as you know, all orders ship for free!
This linen-blend camisole from BP. is a summer staple, in my opinion. You can wear it with shorts or skirts + it’s so airy and breathable, which is perfect for those hot afternoons. The straps are adjustable and even though it’s linen, it’s not see-through at all. I did find this to run a bit big, so I recommend sizing down. Other versatile sleeveless tops I’m loving: this sweater tank, this scalloped camisole, this peplum tank, this eyelet top & this twist-front tank (wear with these denim shorts for a casual weekend look).
You all know how much I love a good midi, so I couldn’t resist this bias cut skirt, which is so comfortable thanks to the stretchy elastic waist. This would be great for taking with you on vacation or wear it on a date night with heels – I also think this is the kind of style that works really well with sneakers (if you’re into that trend). This runs true to size, but I do recommend wearing some Spanx to help smooth everything out – I’m wearing these shaping shorts underneath.
What I’m wearing:
c/o BP Linen Camisole, c/o Leith Midi Skirt (in 3 prints),
c/o Treasure & Bond Slide Sandals (in 7 colors),
c/o Nordstrom Tote, c/o BP Shell Necklace
This swingy dress is the kind of piece that’s so easy to dress up or down – it’s like a blank canvas that you can style with different accessories to really make it pop. It also comes in a pretty blue floral print & would be so cute layered under a denim jacket with flat sandals. This would be great for any bridal or baby showers you’ve got coming up! I’ve always said that adding a belt to a dress completely transforms it and this is proof. I would wear this either way depending on my mood and the occasion, but I wanted to show you how chic it is with a belt.
I’ve had these heels for over 2 years and they are one of the pairs I wear the most in the warm weather months. They’re so comfortable and flattering + they come in 9 different colors – the reviews speak for themselves! I highly recommend if you’re searching for a wearable block heel sandal for spring/summer. More BP shoes to check out: these flat sandals, these neutral mules, these espadrille wedges and these chic slides.
What I’m wearing:
c/o Leith Flounce Hem Dress, c/o Halogen Belt,
c/o Halogen Scarf, c/o Halogen Earrings,
c/o Nordstrom Raffia Clutch, c/o BP Heels
