JUSTIN Bieber looked down in the dumps as he headed out for a spa day in California.

The star wore all black as he mourned the end of his relationship with Selena Gomez -  who, this weekend, jetted off for a sunshine break in Australia.

Justin could barely muster a smile as he headed out in the LA sunshine looking glum.

His shock of blonde hair looked dishevelled and he kept his outfit simple wearing all black everything.

The Sorry singer clutched onto a Starbucks drink and showed off his toned and tattooed arms in his sleeveless top.

His day out comes after pop princess Selena Gome decided to cool off their romance.

A source told The Sun Online: "They're off, again - Selena's family were never happy that they were back on.

"They're on a break - but knowing those two, they'll probably be back together by next week."

Meanwhile Selena was out looking care-free out on a bike ride in Studio City, California on Friday before she went off on holiday.

She looked happy and relaxed as she headed out with friends after taking a break from boyfriend Justin.

Justin and Selena's split comes just after the couple flew to Mexico for the wedding of his dad Jeremy to longtime girlfriend Chelsey Rebelo in an intimate ceremony.

Multiple outlets including Us Weekly, are reporting that they split because the Disney star's family "did not approve" of the romance.

Selena's mum Mandy Teefey, who raised her alone and supported her through her recent illness and kidney transplant, is said to be against their relationship.

Mandy is said to worry about her daughter being hurt again by the Sorry hitmaker.
