Too Faced is definitely one of my favorite makeup brands. I always like the formulation of their lipsticks, eyeshadows and blushes. I think you can't go wrong with this brand.
For Christmas, I got one of their gift sets, the Under The Christmas Tree set. I find it so cute and the products are really worth it. That's why I wanted to share some pictures and swatches of it here on the blog.
I've also got myself the mini Melted Matte Lipstick Kit. I've also shared a video swatch on IG, but I'm posting it here too as blog posts are always better when you want to search for a specific item (I find it hard to find the info you really want on IG, am I the only one?).
The Under The Christmas Tree set contains 3 individual palettes, i.e. 2 eyeshadow palettes and 1 face palette. They come together magically (and magnetically!) to form a beautiful Christmas tree. You also get a min Better Than Sex Mascara. By the way, this mascara is bomb, if you haven't tried it, I can highly recommend it!
One of the palettes is more cool-toned while the second one contains warmer, orange-y colors. Both are well pigmented and are easy to use. It's easy to pick some color with a brush, they're easy to blend and overall work very well! Good point! I also like the different colors and I think both palettes are of good quality!
The face palette is equally good. And I also like the shades :D
Finally, I leave you with the swatch video of "The Sweet Smell of Christmas Liquified Lipstick Set" :D This is a set of four limited-edition Melted Matte liquid lipsticks that smell just like your favorite holiday sweets — cinnamon, hot buttered rum, sugar cookie, and pumpkin spice.
Overall I think both sets here are of really good quality. They're easy to work with. The shadows are nicely pigmented and easy to blend and the melted matte lipsticks have a beautiful formula. They don't feel drying although they're matte and they have the most delicious scent!
