Logan Lerman is in talks to star in war thriller Fury.
The Perks Of Being A Wallflower actor could be joining Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf in the World War II tank adventure, reported Deadline.
Written and directed by End Of Watch's David Ayer, the story takes place in 1945 as the Nazi regime collapses, and the five-man crew of an American tank called Fury battles a German army.
Logan - who reprises his role as Percy Jackson in the second film Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters - is tipped to play the youngest member of the crew, "an inexperienced Army typist thrust into the role of tank gunner".
Brad has been cast as the sergeant Wardaddy, while Shia will play another member of the crew.
Filming on Fury is scheduled to begin in September, for a 2014 release.
Logan, who will next star in indie drama Stuck In Love, has been filming Darren Aronofsky's Biblical epic Noah in which he plays Noah's (Russell Crowe) son Ham opposite Douglas Booth as his brother Shem.
