The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 12, 2017, at 8 pm EST in Los Angeles. The notable award ceremony celebrates the English-language music industry. The Grammy are awarded by The Recording Academy and has been one of the most prestigious awards for personalities in the world of music. Adele released one of her most successful albums titled 25, in November 2015. The British singer received positive reviews from the critics who praised her vocal performance and the production of the album. The queen of international music, Beyonce casually dropped her latest album, Lemonade with a single word tweet. This tweet and the entire album created a stir as people became obsessed with the sass and ease of the singer and her sixth album which was accompanied by a 60-min film of the same name. Several music publications included the album among the best of 2016, including Rolling Stone, which listed Lemonade at number one. Purpose — Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber released his fourth album, Purpose in November 2015. The album gained immense popularity for its hit tracks like "What Do You Mean?" and "Sorry". The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, selling 522,000 copies in its first week of release, giving Bieber the largest first-week sales of his career and his sixth number-one album in the United States.
Views — Drake
Drake's fourth studio album released in April 2016, with five singles: "Hotline Bling" (which was included as a bonus track), "One Dance" featuring Wizkid and Kyla, "Pop Style" featuring The Throne (Jay-Z and Kanye West), "Controlla" and "Too Good" featuring Rihanna. The album received a lukewarm response from critics who found it to be repetitive. Views sold 1.61 million recognised copies and a total of 4.14 million album equivalent units in the United States.
A Sailor's Guide To Earth — Sturgill Simpson
A Sailor's Guide To Earth released in April 2016 is the only Country album in the nominations for Album of the year category. This is the third studio album of American country singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart. The album also has the country singer voicing Kurt Cobain's "In Bloom".
