Hi everyone,
ColourPop is one of the most highly hyped liquid lipstick brand in market. ColourPop makes quality products at affordable price range. Today, I am going to review their ultra-matte liquid lipstick “Little Weapon.” This liquid lipstick was a part of Alexis Ren collaboration with ColourPop. So, let’s see how this product fared.
Price:
$6.00 USD for 0.11 oz.
Product Description:
The boldest formula of our liquid lipsticks – in one smooth swipe, you’ll get intense colour payoff that dries down to a super matte, transfer-proof finish. A true orange red. Ultra-Matte Lip is thin, lightweight formula smoothly glides on the lips leaving super intense pigment with a bold, ultra-matte look. It is very long-wearing and 100% kiss-proof AKA no transferring!
My Experience with ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Little Weapon:
Packaging: The packaging is pretty standard clear tube with golden writing on the side – Alexis Ren x ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip. The bottom of the tube specifies the name “Little Weapon.” The tube has a matte black cap with a golden ring around the tube. The applicator is a standard doe foot. The product comes in a black and golden cardboard box with the name of the product and the ingredients list. I really love this packaging. Overall, the tube is sleek and travel friendly.
Texture and Application: The texture of this liquid lipstick is very thin and liquidly. It dries matte within seconds once applied on the lips, so if there are any errors during application, correcting them is a task. The doe-foot applicator makes it easy to fill in the corners of the lips with ease. There is no fragrance to this liquid lipstick. Once the liquid lipstick dries, it has a powdery feel to it. Before applying the lipstick, please exfoliate your lips or else the lipstick when set might look crumbly. If the lips feels really dry a lip balm or a gloss can be used as a top coat. However, this will affect the longevity of the lipstick.
Shade and Finish: The shade is described as a ‘true orange red’ and it is a very beautiful tomato red shade which leans a bit towards neon. However, this shade will complement fair to medium Indian skin tone. I have tons of red lipsticks but this is a unique red shade. This particular shade makes my teeth look super white. The lipstick will dry ultra-matte. They are very comfortable to wear. It does accentuates the lip lines.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The lipstick is super pigmented and super opaque. It gives full coverage even if the lips are pigmented. One swipe is all it takes to get the maximum pigmentation.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this lipstick. It stays on for around 8 hours without the need to reapply. It is kiss proof and budge proof. However, it will start to fade from the centre of the lips if you tend to eat oily meals. Overall, I am really happy with the colour pay off. The lipstick can be easily removed with an oil based makeup remover.
Pros of ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Little Weapon:

- Beautiful tomato reddish orange shade.

Cons of ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Little Weapon:

IMBB Rating:
